The SCCRM care team is led by Dr. Robert Anderson and Dr. Don Royster, dual board-certified fertility specialists whose expertise and innovation have set a new standard in reproductive medicine. With decades of experience, they craft personalized treatment plans designed to meet each patient’s unique needs, combining advanced medical techniques with a compassionate, patient-first approach.

They are supported by a dedicated team of highly skilled nurses, embryologists, and support staff, all working together to provide comprehensive fertility services. From initial consultations to advanced procedures like in vitro fertilization (IVF) and egg freezing, the team collaborates seamlessly to deliver exceptional care. Robert E. Anderson, M.D.

With over 30 years experience in the field of Reproductive Medicine, Dr. Robert Anderson has developed a highly successful approach to the treatment of every type of fertility problem. He has been practicing in Orange County longer than any other Board Certified Reproductive Endocrinologist.

Don Royster, M.D.

With over 15 years of experience as an OB/GYN and Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility (REI) specialist, Dr. Don Royster joined SCCRM after serving on active duty in the United States Air Force for over 20 years, retiring at the rank of Colonel. He has performed over 6,000 surgeries and delivered over 1,000 babies with deployments and humanitarian missions across the globe. 

Meet our Lab Director

With over 30 years of experience in reproductive medicine and embryology, Dr. Tucker was named Lab Director in 2024 after achieving exceptional IVF success rates as Scientific Director for both Shady Grove Fertility and US Fertility. Renowned globally for his contributions to IVF technology, he pioneered intracytoplasmic sperm injection (ICSI) in the U.S. in 1992 and led the first successful pregnancy and birth using cryopreserved donor and immature eggs in 1997. Dr. Tucker is certified as a High-complexity Clinical Laboratory Director (HCLD) in the U.S. and is a fellow of the Institute of Biology in the U.K.

Meet our team

  • Deisy Cerceda-Ramirez, M.A.

    Deisy grew up in Southern California and has been working in the fertility field since 2017. Her passion for helping families achieve their dreams of parenthood has been the driving force behind her work. Fluent in Spanish, Deisy brings both expertise and compassion to her role. Outside of work, she enjoys spending quality time with her daughter and engaging in hobbies such as hiking, running, and working out. She’s also an avid football fan—#GoCowboys!

  • Julia Chastain, M.A.

    Julia has been a member of the SCCRM clinical staff since 2021. She enjoys being a part of the care team and guiding our patients through their fertility treatment. She balances work, exercising, and being with her family while pursinging her nursing degree. 

  • Crista Hill, R.N.

    Nurse Manager

    Crista grew up in Illinois before moving to Southern California shortly before starting high school. A graduate of Golden West Nursing School, she joined this practice in 1996 and has been an integral part of the team ever since. Crista lives in Huntington Beach with her husband and their two daughters. In her free time, she enjoys exploring estate sales, hunting for vintage treasures to resell.

  • Joyce Lin, R.N.

    Joyce was born and raised in Taiwan before moving to California in 2010. She earned her degree from the National Taipei University of Nursing and Health Sciences and began her career in the Neurological ICU at Taipei Veterans General Hospital. Joyce now lives in Irvine with her husband, two daughters, and their joyful dog, where they have happily settled since 2010.

  • Joan Moody, CNP

    Joan Moody has been a dedicated nurse for nearly 40 years and became a certified Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner in 1981. With over 20 years of experience as a fertility provider in Orange County, she is passionate about delivering high-quality fertility care with a compassionate and personal touch. Joan lives in Fullerton and takes pride in making a difference in her patients' journeys to parenthood.

  • Tiffany Tran, M.A.

    Tiffany is a proud Southern California native who graduated from Concorde Career College in 2012. With about three years of experience in infertility care, she loves being part of a field that helps families grow. Outside of work, Tiffany enjoys spending time with her family and doting on her fur babies.

  • Treena Rapaport, M.S.N.

    Third Party Coordinator

    Treena grew up in Orange County and earned her Bachelor’s degree in Biology from the University of San Francisco (USF). With a background in research and a passion for patient care, she has worked in Reproductive Endocrinology since 2008. She later returned to USF to complete her Master’s of Science in Nursing through the Clinical Nurse Leader program. Specializing in third-party reproduction, she works closely with intended parents, egg and sperm donors, and gestational carriers. Treena lives in Orange County with her husband and their three boys.

  • Michelle Sun

    Mandarin-Speaking New Patient Coordinator

    Michelle grew up in China and moved to California in 2012, joining SCCRM in 2014. She holds a bachelor’s degree in biotechnology and a master’s degree in microbiology. Fluent in both English and Mandarin, Michelle serves as a dedicated liaison for our patients, seamlessly bridging the medical, laboratory, and administrative departments.

    In her role, Michelle guides patients through the new consultation process, coordinates appointments, translates medical and financial documents, and reviews treatment protocols. Her deep compassion and clinical expertise in IVF and infertility care create a supportive and reassuring experience for every patient she assists.

    Michelle shares, “My greatest motivation is the moment I hear the heartbeat of a patient’s baby.”

  • Doris Wang, L.V.N.

    Doris was born and raised in Beijing, China, and moved to California in the mid-1990s. She completed her college education in China, earned her nursing credentials in 2009, and has over 11 years of experience in IVF. Having been a patient herself, she brings compassion and understanding to her role, finding joy in supporting her patients' fertility journeys while continuously learning. In her free time, Doris enjoys exploring different cultures through travel and cuisine and is learning Japanese to charm the sushi chefs!
