SART IVF Success Reports Consolidate Nationwide Data

As a member of the Society for Assisted Reproductive Technology (SART), SCCRM prospectively reports IVF success rates and clinical outcomes to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). Our Newport Beach fertility center reports clinical outcomes and follows strict assisted reproductive technologies (ART) guidelines. Along with 90% of the nation’s top fertility centers, we provide yearly data that SART compiles and releases the following year.  Over the past 10 years, we have consistently been ranked in the top 10 nationally for IVF success rates, especially for patients over 40 years of age.

IVF cycles from a specific year are included in the SART report two years later to account for births.

Understanding the SART Report

SART reports give patients an overview of IVF success rates at participating clinics. Key points to keep in mind:

  • Reports show both pregnancies and live births, but miscarriages can result in fewer live births.

  • Only procedures involving egg and sperm handling, like IVF, are included.

  • Clinics differ in patient selection and treatment methods, so SART cautions against using the reports to compare clinics.

While the reports offer a broad look at IVF success, it’s best to discuss your specific treatment options with your fertility specialist.
