Dr. Robert Anderson, a leader in Reproductive Medicine with over 30 years of experience, is double board-certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology, as well as Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility. He has been practicing in Orange County longer than any other Board Certified Reproductive Endocrinologist.
In 1992, Dr. Anderson founded the Southern California Center for Reproductive Medicine, Orange County’s first independent IVF center. He also established the Southern California Institute for Reproductive Sciences, pioneering advanced techniques such as assisted hatching, blastocyst culturing, and transvaginal ultrasound-guided embryo transfer. His work has led to many firsts in the region, including successful births from fresh and frozen blastocysts.
Dr. Anderson collaborates with stem cell researchers, contributing to the development of stem cell lines for federally funded research. He has also advanced preimplantation genetic testing (PGT) and continues to lead discussions on its responsible use.
An active member of several prestigious organizations, including the American Society for Reproductive Medicine (ASRM) and the Society for Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility (SREI), Dr. Anderson has published award-winning research in leading peer-reviewed journals and has presented his findings at international conferences.
